Cleaning out

Since we have bought a new house, I figured I would use this time to clean out our rent house and reduce the amount of junk we will move. What a project! We just did this a year ago but somehow we have accumulated a ton of useless stuff. So today I started with the Kitchen, Living Room, and Dining Room. Those are the easy rooms, next is the bedrooms, closets, and then the garage ( I hear the Doom music now). I had the boys clean up their rooms and Logan decided to dump everything out so he could then clean.....

I wonder if he feels overwhelmed cause I know I do! I think I will be making his room a priority this week. Wow what a mess. It's hard to believe that it was once really neat and organized. Speaking of organized I found some rubbermaid shoe boxes on sale and of course knew exactly what I would use them for! I love organizing and knowing where everything is... just wish it would stay that way!

Santa came!

So this year Christmas was a little different. Andrew got to go spend Christmas with his dad so it was just the younger two and us. It was so hard to let him go but he had a wonderful time! Santa was able to take some of Andrew's presents there and some here. Mikey and Logan were very excited about Santa and went to bed very easy. Here are a few pics from our 2009 Christmas!

30 min, packed, and on the road!

So we had cancelled our trip to Texas. I know boo, right? Some things had come up and it was easier to not go but then the clouds parted, angels sang..... well not really, instead my hubby said LET'S GO! So we were on the road. I was amazed at how fast we packed! Let me tell you that the trip was more than worth it! We had an amazing time with our family. We had not gotten to meet three new family members so this trip was a great way to meet them and bond. I must say I think they like Aunt JJ,Uncle Mike and the boys. Vimmer, Brucie, and Kenleigh it was so great to meet each of you. By the way our family ROCKS! We spent most days at the "store" and the evenings at the river laughing with everyone. It was a true blessing to go. Here are a few things we got to do......

The sad part was leaving. I really wish we lived closer cause I truly love my family. I left a piece of my heart with each and everyone of them and cannot wait to go back.

Tree Decoration Time

After we all recovered from our Thanksgiving feast we got out the Christmas Decorations! Normally we let the kids hang the ornaments and then later that evening I will go back to even them out! This year I decided to relax and let the kids have control of the tree. We love opening the box of ornaments and remembering when we got this one or that one. As a Hallmark ornament collector I really enjoy that each ornament has a story! We are still on the look out for the perfect star tree topper. We have never been able to put one on the tree before due to very short ceilings! Merry Christmas Everyone!

New Moon

Yes I am one of those Twilight people. I read the series and became hooked! I absolutely love everything Twilight and have tons of Twilight garb. It was a great story and I have looked forward to New Moon coming to the big screen for a year now. It was everything I had hoped for and more. I have only seen it 3 times so far and cannot wait to see it again! Also the third movie comes out in June! WOO HOO!

GUESS WHO'S 10??

Yes folks my baby is 10!! Can you believe it? He had a great birthday. He got mostly Harry Potter stuff. He has been asking for a wand for a long time. We found him a replica wand that lights up. He also got a snitch, and an owl. He really enjoyed his birthday with a few guys that stayed the night. They played tons of video games, ate pizza, and stayed up really late!
